Our work with Angus Housing Association

Allia C&C has been working with Angus since 2021 on several treasury advisory workstreams. Initially we carried out a review of Angus’ treasury position ahead of supporting it to raise £18m of new funding to support its development programme.

Angus was the first adopter of Allia’s HA business plan model, enabling it to take control of the business plan process, which is now more straightforward and cost efficient.

We also provide Angus with annual treasury services working with the Executive Team and Board to support its treasury needs throughout the year.

We have recently completed recently a further fundraising exercise with Angus and have loan offers for a further £22m as it continues to deliver its development programme.

The impact

Our work with Angus has allowed it to raise competitively priced long-term bank funding to support its development programme and provided much needed affordable homes during the housing crisis in Scotland.

Our work has created interest savings for Angus that improve the performance of its business plan.

The business plan model has given Angus control of its business plan modelling that it didn’t have previously and at a much lower cost.

Allia C&C has created a deep understanding of Angus and has built a strong relationship with the HA, which allows us to add real value to its impact.
